I’m in my second year as a photographer for the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and I got home barely four hours ago from shooting at the Trailblazers party at the Hudson. Its now 6am and I’m up early preparing for todays Super 8 workshop and performance.

The projectors are primed, the bleach is thick and we’re gonna make some crazy hand-manipulated loops to entertain the delegates and invited guests. My good fiend Matt Kemp is up from Lodon to assist and lend his Super 8-geek knowhow and Dj skills to play along to our performance. I’ve yet to meet the participants, but I’m sure we’ll all be buddies by the end of the day.

I’ll put up images and maybe some video tomorrow, as long as everything goes to plan and the reels of film don’t combust and our work goes up in a ball of flames.

Actually, that would be pretty cool projected onto the wall…

If you’re coming along to the performance at the Delegate centre on Bread Street, please note that we’ll be starting slightly later at 7.30pm until 9pm.

Thats all for now, I have to pack up the equipment and down a vat of coffee.
